Amarilla Golf Course

Amarilla Golf & Country Club On the southern island of Tenerife, just after you come from the airport but before you come to Las Americas and Los Christianos, you find it challenging golf course at Amarilla Golf and Country Club. It is a very demanding golf course with a beautiful and interesting lay out, and the track bordering the Atlantic Ocean – yes several places you may even shoot over a barranco or Atlantic Ocean to get to the greens. The fascinating 18-hole golf course at Amarilla Golf & Country Club is characterized by a very nice view over the sea, which no doubt inspired pave architect Donald Steel, when he built the golf course in 1986. The golf course, surrounded by Barrancos gives you an incredible interesting and fun game, but it is still very challenging – even from the yellow tees. From the white competition-tees has the architect Donald Steel also managed to create a challenging golf course for the professional golfer, golf course while at the same time offering an attractive but challenging game for amateurs with more modest talents. The golf course also has a very exciting and significant signature hole – No 5. That is a short par 3 hole on 130 yards. You hit the ball over the Barranco and the Atlantic Ocean to a small and undulated green. When the wind is blowing it really is a challenge even for the most experienced golfer.
